Critical Steps
- Never light the burner with the lid closed — the manual states this may cause an explosion. Always open the lid first.
- Perform the soap-and-water leak test on every gas connection (one part dish soap to three parts water) before first use — bubbles mean a leak that must be fixed before lighting.
- Route the regulator hose under and to the outside of the leg brace, and confirm the valve tips sit fully inside the burner tubes before final assembly.
Pro Tips
- Don't tighten any bolts until the manual tells you to — early tightening is a documented cause of misaligned panels.
- Hand-tighten the regulator connection only — never use a wrench on it, over-tightening can damage the seal.
