Tools Needed
- Hammer or rubber mallet (for nails/dowels)
- Phillips screwdriver
- No power tools needed
Parts Checklist
- 2 side panels
- Top + bottom panels
- Horizontal dividers
- Shelf backings
- L-shaped wall bracket + wall screws
- Dowels, screws, nails
Critical Steps
- Check finished-edge orientation on every panel before nailing — mismatches are hard to fix after.
- Screw the L-bracket into a wall stud, not just drywall, especially if stacking units.
- Tap dowels in with a mallet before nailing panels together.
Pro Tips
- Orient all finished edges the same direction — unfinished MDF edges are easy to mismatch and hard to fix after nailing.
- The included L-bracket wall-anchor MUST be screwed into a wall stud, especially with stacked units.
