Tools Needed
- Allen wrench (included)
- Do NOT use a power screwdriver — the manual explicitly prohibits it
Parts Checklist
- Headboard
- Footboard
- Two side rails
- Mattress support/spring frame
- Bolts and Allen wrench (included)
- Actual-size hardware diagram sheet
Critical Steps
- The mattress support pouch must be installed with the springs/pouch facing UP — installing it upside down is a real safety issue, not just cosmetic.
- Use the highest mattress position only for a newborn; move it down as the child grows, and stop using the crib once the child is 35 inches tall or can climb out.
- Tighten every bolt fully with the included Allen wrench before use, and recheck periodically — loose hardware is a documented strangulation hazard on cribs.
Pro Tips
- Leave the Step 1 bolts loose exactly as instructed — tightening too early makes later panels hard to align.
- Check every bolt against the actual-size diagram in the manual before installing — using the wrong bolt in the wrong hole is the most common support-frame mistake.
