Critical Steps
- Press each caster straight into the base socket until it clicks — a caster that isn't fully seated will pop out under weight.
- The gas cylinder is a press-fit into the base star — firm, even downward pressure, no tool or hammer needed.
- Tighten armrest mounting bolts evenly side-to-side so the armrests sit level.
Pro Tips
- Assemble upside down on a soft surface (box or towel) — base up, seat down — it's far easier to seat the casters and cylinder this way.
- Push casters straight in, not at an angle, or they'll feel loose even when fully seated.
