Tools Needed
- Allen/hex key (included)
- Phillips screwdriver
- Second person REQUIRED — console and deck are very heavy
Parts Checklist
- Base/deck assembly
- Upright posts (left/right)
- Console with embedded touchscreen
- Handrails
- Bolt/hardware bag
Critical Steps
- Do not attempt to stand the upright posts or attach the console alone — NordicTrack's own instructions and independent reviews both call for two people due to the weight involved.
- Fully tighten upright post bolts before hanging any weight (leaning, console) on them.
- Run the treadmill through a slow-speed test with the safety key attached before your first real walk/run, to confirm the belt tracks straight and the incline motor responds correctly.
Pro Tips
- Unbox and position the base deck in its final resting spot before attaching the upright posts — it's very hard to move once the posts and console are on.
- Have your second person support the console while you start the mounting bolts — the touchscreen console is top-heavy and easy to scratch if set down carelessly.
