Tools Needed
- Phillips screwdriver (included tool usually sufficient)
- Second person recommended for flipping the desktop
Parts Checklist
- Left and right telescoping legs
- Crossbar/stretcher
- Control box + up/down keypad
- Desktop (ordered separately or together)
- Cable management tray (if ordered)
Critical Steps
- Keep both legs level and square to the crossbar before final tightening — a racked frame causes the desk to bind or wobble when raising/lowering.
- Route and label motor cables to each leg BEFORE standing the desk up — it's much harder to trace cables once it's upright.
- Never run the motors before the crossbar is fully secured — an unsecured frame can flex or bind the lift mechanism.
Pro Tips
- Attach the legs and crossbar to the desktop while it's upside-down on a padded surface, then flip the whole assembly right-side up together with a second person — much easier than standing legs up individually.
- Plug in and run the desk through its full up/down range once before final wall/final positioning, to confirm the motors are working before you're committed to its spot.
